Adriana Marrero
Realtor AssociateFrom a young age, Adriana Marrero's grandfather always said "Don't wait to buy real estate. Buy real estate and wait." At first, she wasn't quite sure what he meant until she watched him turn his own $5,000 investment into $600,000. From that point on, I knew whatever career I chose, it had to do with people and business, says Adriana. I love creating new relationships with people and real estate allows me to do that. And though her work as a real estate professional has moved steadily forward with a strong background in market research, development sales, and work on such high-profile properties as ARIA on the Bay, the family still holds a special place in Adriana's career. Today, she still considers her most significant transaction to be her first commercial sale the acquisition of a parcel of land adjacent to her family's current business.
Born and raised in South Florida, Adriana has lived and breathed all things Miami, which gives her an almost innate insight into the city. She herself grew up between West Miami and Coral Gables, but she also has many years of experience with Shenandoah, South Miami, Downtown, Little Havana, Wynwood, and Edgewater. She also spends a great deal of time working with single-family home sales in Kendall, West Miami, and Miami Lakes. Adriana also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communications.
Like any Miami native, Adriana cares deeply about her community. She remains close to her Cuban-Nicaraguan family and enjoys the pride every person shares about their different nationalities. She also volunteers both time and resources to various Miami non-profit organizations, including the United Way of Miami-Dade, Kiwanis of Little Havana, and the Boys and Girls Club of Coconut Grove. Adriana also enjoys meeting with young entrepreneurs to help them worth through their business plans and encourage their opportunities for growth. In the time she reserves for herself, Adriana loves to travel and makes a point to try and take a weekend getaway or extended excursion abroad whenever the opportunity presents itself.
Adriana is fluent in English and Spanish.
