Luis Garino is an expert in the South Florida luxury real estate market, having worked at the Miami-based Cervera Real Estate brokerage since 2009. His extensive business and finance experience has earned him a prominent reputation amongst his colleagues. A specialist in all aspects of high-rise development sales – nascent stage to completion – Luis’ expertise ranges from consulting on programming of units, partnerships, and pricing of developments to building sales teams, training, and management.
Luis has a wealth knowledge in real estate and construction. This background, together with his dedication, ethical style, discretion, and low-key approach to negotiation, has helped him succeed both as a development sales agentand team leader. In 2013, Luis was appointed sales director of Bay House Miami Residences, the first residential tower by The Melo Group to be represented and sold by Cervera. Following its successful sellout, Luis went on toserve as sales director of Aria on the Bay in 2015, also by The Melo Group. Combined, he led a team of 15 agents in the who collectively closed out 800+ residences totaling more than $600 million in sales.
In 2014, Luis was received the Outstanding Project Leadership award by Cervera Real Estate. He received the firm’s Outstanding International Reach award in 2017 and was a five-time Top Producer Circle honoree for the firm’s Development Sales division from 2014 to 2018.
While he is regarded as a pre-construction specialist, Luis also excels in general real estate sales and leasing. Together with his business partner and wife Marioly Saldana, he leads the Saldana-Garino Group. Since 2011, the Saldana-Garino Group has been named to the Top Producer Circle for the firm’s General Real Estate Division.
Prior to moving to Miami, Luis was a successful entrepreneur in his native Santa Cruz, Bolivia. His businesses took him around the globe, which allowed him to open relationships and new markets, including United States; Canada;Brazil; Argentina; Ecuador; China; France; United Kingdom; and Spain. Luis utilizes these relationships and his extensive insight into the South Florida market to assist his clients in making intelligent and knowledgeable decisions. The markets he specializes include, but are not limited to: Brickell, The Beaches, Key Biscayne, Sunny Isles and Ft. Lauderdale.
While real estate is his passion, giving back to the community is where he finds his greatest reward. Luis Garino is a member of United Way’s Tocqueville Society, where his mission is aimed at bettering the lives of children in need through contributions. “Education is a cornerstone for success in school, work and life,” says Luis. “It also benefits the whole community: high school graduates have higher earning potential, contribute more to their local economies and are more engaged in their communities.”
Luis is fluent in English and Spanish, with comprehension skills in Portuguese and Italian.
