Miami Real Estate Headlines — Oct. 23, 2022
October,21 2022This week's top Miami real estate headlines — LeBron James scores a new Sunny Isles Beach condo; Miami ranks #1 in U.S. business travel growth; and SoBe's Lincoln Road gets an artistic takeover ahead of Miami Art Week.
Hi my name is Arno De Vos and here’s what’s happening in Miami's real estate market.
A basketball behemoth returns to Miami …. Homeownership. Lebron James picking up a brand new oceanfront condo in Sunny Isles Beach. The former Miami Heat star picking up a nine-million dollar pad at the newly-completed “Estates at Acqualina”. The 43rd-level Lebron family residence is one of only around 150 in the south tower – each with access to over 45-thousand square feet of family-friendly amenities – including an ice skating rink, a bowling alley – not to mention the lobbies designed by the late fashion design icon Karl Lagerfeld.
And Miami no longer is just about endless sunshine and breathtakingly-blue ocean water. The magic city now leading the entire nation for business travel growth. A new study released by the American hotel and lodging association showing Miami coming in at number one for business travel growth of all cities measured across the u-s – with a whopping 23 percent surge compared to pre-pandemic levels. The trend echoing the headline-grabbing migration of many tech and finance entities increasing their office footprints in Miami in recent years.
And just ahead of Miami art week: it’s an outdoor artistic take-over on Miami beach’s famed lincoln road. Renowned french artist Richard Orlinski bringing his iconic sculptures to the masses on the iconic pedestrian-friendly drive. The open-air activation featuring pieces from Orlinski's recent “Avenue De Champs Elysee” exhibition in Paris. The captivating pops of color on display now - just as the city revs up for the country’s premier art show, Art Basel Miami beach.
